Sharon Hurley is a Tiny House advocate on the NJ Micro-Homes Collaborative. This committee’s mission is to find strategies for utilizing Tiny Houses as a solution to eradicating homelessness in NJ. Sharon is the Meetup Organizer for Tiny Houses and ADU’s in NJ/PA.
Sharon is a passionate advocate for helping others through stressful times. Her work in Human Services includes counseling others with difficult decisions including: Early Childhood Education, Adult Day Care, Veterans benefits, Volunteer Management, and end-of-life (Hospice) care. Her work in Senior services helps people find solutions to Age-in-Place, in the home of their choice.
Sharon served as President for a non-profit board, the Aging in Place Partnership. She was a presenter at the 2014 NJ Governor’s Conference on Volunteerism. She was awarded Volunteer Coordinator of the Year in 2015 by the NJ Hospice and Palliative Care Organization.
